Corona Historic Preservation Society Preservation Assistance Grant Program
It is CHPS's desire to preserve historic sites and buildings in Corona. This grant program is established to reimburse a fixed amount of the costs incurred by individuals seeking to improve, beautify, preserve or restore their properties in a manner complementary to the historic fabric of the structure. Since the Society is committed to promoting future restoration, so others will be able to see the historic beauty of our city, our aim is to fund exterior improvements and projects that are visible to the public.
In addition to necessary contact information, property/site information, and description of the project, the Grant Application states the general guidelines, basic eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and submission requirements.
Additional Considerations
When projects submitted seem to compete for available funds, priority will be given to:
- The Grand Boulevard Historic District
- State Historic Structures Inventory (CA)
- Any city or county list of Historic Resources
- Any city or county list of Structures of Merit
- Homes and structures that the CHPS Grant committee considers historical in nature.
Notes
The Society will endeavor to ensure that the grants will be non-taxable or tax-free to the recipient.
Why Not Improve Your Historic Home?

Home preservation grants are available to assist Corona residents in preserving, restoring, rehabilitating, reconstructing, or any other appropriate activity to improve the "curb appeal" of their homes. Please allow the Corona Historic Preservation Society to help you make your part of Corona more beautiful.
